Harvest Share Initiative

Did you know…1 in 6 families are living in hunger?

The goal of the Harvest Share initiative is to increase donations of fresh fruits and vegetables to local food pantries and feeding programs.

You can help…

Share your Harvest

Are you a backyard gardener or local farmer? If you have a bountiful harvest…please consider donatinig your excess fruits and vegetables to a food pantry. Find a pantry that needs fresh produce at: www.AmpleHarvest.Harvest

Plant2Share

We encourage places of worship, clubs and other organizations to plant a garden with the purpose of donating to a food pantry or other emergency feeding program. For more information, click here to download a fact sheet.

If you grow…be sure to let us know! The Alliance would like to provide your organization with a Plant2Share garden sign…to help spread the word!

For tips on starting a garden, visit the Resource section.

SNAP ‘n Save!
